This is a recording of the first performance of “Drifting Out of Doing” and a document of the first concert ever played on the Make Noise New Universal Synthesizer System by Tony Rolando who worked on and designed the system.
In Tony’s words….
The system was designed to offer powerful gestural considerations that have the potential to produce new compositional structures. I created this modular synthesizer patch to spark shared experience, inviting us as listeners to drift out of the doing of our lives. Being with the audience, listening as much as performing, was my intention.
