This edition finds Tony Rolando engaging new sonic explorations for Aventures Ltd. From years of being an electronic instrument maker through his company Make Noise music, Tony’s process for making objects has leaned firmly into gesture, contact and the organism. While considering ideas from the mid and late 20th century, Tony’s visions and innovations come from a 21st century perspective.

This edition, Multiple Futures  illustrates this future/past sensibility within several dystopian landscapes that have an almost Ballardian or dare I say Dick-ish feel to them. The sonic palette is delivered by vintage synthesizers and machines of his own making through sense memory, brushes with nostalgia and that consideration of that which does not exist.
